The prep team... poor things....
See, this Gale/Kat discussion about the prep team is what makes me think it will end up her w/ Peeta. Gale's just bit too harsh to end up that way. Katniss has seen enough that she needs to know the people in her life have compassion.
Love that she added Annie into the immune victors mix. Gives me hope for Finnick.
See? This! is what I'm talking about as far as the creepy District 13 version of dystopian. Katniss is a puppet for them too... step out of line & we're all dead. Gives me the heebies.
This is the chapter that changed things for me.
ReplyDeleteGale not being able to understand (or at least try to understand) what Katniss went through in the Games and why the prep team might be important to her is when I renounced my Team Gale membership. He's cold and he's willing to go much further than she is to achieve his goals - no matter the cost.
This is also when I realized that the District 13 people were playing the same game the Capitol is playing. Same game, different name. Coin and Snow are a lot alike.
It's that lack of understanding that there could be people in the Capitol who are innocents too.

And District 13... anyone that can be that cruel to people who are hungry... like I said... the heebies.
